2.1 Million Dollar Expansion Opens with Fanfare

Posted 6/11/2015

On June 10, American Lutheran Homes celebrated a grand opening for a major expansion project at Hillview Assisted Living in Mondovi. The new 2.1-million dollar wing will double the amount of space for our friends and neighbors who require a quality assisted living facility.

“This new wing will change people’s lives for the better. We’re so excited to have more of our friends and neighbors in Mondovi and the surrounding area move in and enjoy this beautiful new wing”, said Mike Christensen, the CEO of Grace Lutheran Foundation which manages the facility.

The new 12-bed addition will help more families take care of their loved ones.

“Instead of having to travel to facilities farther from where they live, they now have a wonderful community to call home close by”, Christensen added.

Ken King, the administrator of American Lutheran Homes Mondovi says the new facility will continue the tradition of quality care, in a residential setting familiar to people in the area.

“There continues to be a increasing demand for additional assisted living beds in our area. Our high level addition to Hillview Assisted Living will meet anticipated service needs in our area for the foreseeable future”, King said.

American Lutheran Communities has been helping our friends and neighbors in communities all over the western Wisconsin since 1949. The non-profit organization specializes in rehabilitation, assisted living and skilled nursing at American Lutheran Communities - Menomonie and Autumn Village Assisted Living in Menomonie and American Lutheran Communities - Mondovi and Hillview Senior Living located in Mondovi.
