Groundbreaking for New 2.1 Million Dollar Facility will Change Lives

Mondovi - American Lutheran Homes is celebrating a major expansion project at the Hillview Senior Center in Mondovi. A formal groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 23rd to kick off the project. When completed, the new wing will double the amount of space for our friends and neighbors who require a quality assisted living facility.

“This state of the art building will provide a level of service that is not currently available in the area”, said Mike Christensen, the CEO of Grace Lutheran Foundation which manages the facility.

The new 12 bed addition will help more families take care of their loved ones in a facility close to home.

Ken King, the administrator of American Lutheran Homes Mondovi says the new facility will continue the tradi- tion of quality care, in a residential setting familiar to people in the area.

“There continues to be a increasing demand for additional assisted living beds in our area. Our high level addi- tion to our Hillview Senior Living will meet anticipated service needs in our area for the foreseeable future”, King said.

The project is scheduled to start in the coming weeks with a completion anticipated for June of 2015.

American Lutheran Communities has been helping our friends and neighbors in communities all over the western Wisconsin since 1949. The non-profit organization specializes in rehabilitation, assisted living and skilled nursing at American Lutheran Communities - Menomonie and Autumn Village Assisted Living in Menomonie and American Lutheran Communities - Mondovi and Hillview Senior Living located in Mondovi.
