ALC Menomonie Celebrates 50 Years

Posted 10/14/2016

On October 13, American Lutheran Communities Menomonie residents, staff members, and community members had a lovely evening celebrating 50 years serving the Menomonie area. The evening included an open house with hors d'oeuvres, veggies, cheese and crackers and desserts prepared by kitchen staff. Harpist, Sarah Ohr entertained guests with her beautiful music. In a short program, COO Marty Metten and Administrator Betsy Henck addressed those gathered win affirmation of our mission and values along with appreciation for our dedicated staff. The program concluded with a prayer of thanks and blessing from our chaplain.

A display with a scrapbook of photos from the last 50 years was on display, and included articles from the newspaper about American Lutheran Communities.
