Menomonie Residents Host Wedding Event

On August 23, American Lutheran Communities-Menomonie enjoyed reminiscing about weddings at a special event hosted by the residents. ALC staff brought in their wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses to showcase. There were eight wedding dresses and ten bridesmaid dresses for our residents to view. The ladies in attendance said wedding dresses have surely changed!The event included wedding photos, bouquets and a variety of centerpieces on display for the residents to enjoy. The residents had also made wedding cupcakes for treats and they enjoyed a wedding dance with Kathy Johns performing. The cake table had a water fountain and also a champagne fountain with beautiful flowers from the flower garden at ALC. It was a beautiful day and everyone had a wonderful time.
American Lutheran Communities has been helping our friends and neighbors in communities all over the western Wisconsin since 1949. The non-profit organization specializes in rehabilitation, assisted living and skilled nursing at American Lutheran Communities - Menomonie and Autumn Village Assisted Living in Menomonie and American Lutheran Communities - Mondovi and Hillview Senior Living located in Mondovi.
